After a rough winter, our friends in Ferndale needed some work on their slate porch roof.
The sill plate was cracked and needed repair. We decided that since the slates needed to come off to fix the sill plate, we might as well replace the entire roof with cost-effective and low maintenance galvalum.
The good slates were salvaged and left with the homeowner for use on the remaining slate rooves.
The finished standing-seam roof, really adds a nice touch to the patio area where many hours are spent in the summer relaxing with friends and family.
